2/52 - Prima Nix.

January 08, 2017

It's definitely getting cold out here in this world. The tones all around though are just so lovely that I can't help but enjoy the view. I may have gotten the sniffles along the way, but that's ok. What's life without a little bit of sickness to tell you that you're not keeping yourself in a bubble?

And you know what, even though I may miss the activity that college gives me the last few years, it was definitely really nice to spend the next few weeks doing my own thing. I was able to catch up with old friends and reflect on myself. I was able to plan out my next few months and figure out things I never would've been able to in the middle of a hectic schedule. And I really think everyone needs that.

And you know why that is? Rest is great for the body and the soul. My body's been hating me for all the physical torment I put it through during a rigorous semester. Treat yourself. Hibernate a little bit. I know that my busiest days are ahead of me, and this break was definitely needed and necessary.

We got a long road ahead of ourselves in the coming weeks. The first snow may have shut me in, but we'll get back to it soon enough. I'll talk with you all again soon enough.
